Sacred TO THE MEMORY OF ALEXANDER BONAR, ESQUIRE OF RATHO, WHO DIED 22ND APRIL 1820, AGED 70 YEARS. The Righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance

AND OF MRS SARAH MCCALL, HIS WIFE WHO DIED 27TH JULY 1835, AGED 70 YEARS. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saints

ALSO OF THEIR SON JOHN BONAR, ESQUIRE OF RATHO, WHO DIED 26TH NOVEMBER 1836, AGED 43 YEARS. “Man’s days are as grass, as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth for the wind passeth over it, and it is gone.”
