Context Note: Samuel Bower was uncle of Susannah (Bower) Edmonds and age about 26. The Phippards were probably also relations of some kind. 1765 Oct[o]b[e]r 25th Buried Samuel Pheppard and Timothy Pheppard 26th Buried Samuel Bower who were all drown'd at Winspit R[ector?] Affid[avit] (Burial registers, Langton Matravers, Dorset)
